The IMX226CLJ-C is a Type 1/1.7, approximately 12.40 MP monochrome back-illuminated CMOS image sensor for industrial camera applications. It uses STARVIS pixel technology and provides all-pixel 12M output and a 4K output mode, giving camera designers a choice between full-resolution acquisition and a 17:9 imaging format.
Its technical identity combines high-resolution monochrome imaging with a back-illuminated pixel structure. The design uses the low-illumination characteristics of the corresponding STARVIS colour sensor technology while retaining monochrome output. In 4K mode, the sensor supports 60 frame/s at 10 bit, making the reduced-output mode relevant where temporal resolution is as important as image detail.
Global reset provides an additional control option for industrial imaging systems. When used with a flash, it supports acquisition with low distortion. Low-voltage LVDS output and selectable channel use provide an interface option suited to different frame-rate requirements.
