The IMX571BQR-J is a Type 1.8, 26.11 MP colour CMOS image sensor for surveillance, FA, and industrial cameras. Its 28.3 mm diagonal square-pixel array uses 3.76 μm pixels and an on-chip RGB primary-colour mosaic filter for colour imaging.
Its individual technical identity is the combination of high-resolution colour output and a back-illuminated pixel structure. The RGB mosaic filter differentiates the IMX571BQR-J from the monochrome IMX571BLR-J, enabling colour capture rather than monochrome output. STARVIS back-illuminated pixel technology is specified for colour security-camera applications and supports high picture quality in visible-light and near-infrared regions.
The sensor incorporates a 16-bit A/D converter and a CDS/PGA with up to 36 dB gain in 12-, 14-, and 16-bit conversion modes. It supports 11-, 12-, 14-, and 16-bit digital output, giving camera designers a choice of output precision according to the selected operating mode.
At full resolution, 16-bit output supports still-image readout at 6.84 frame/s. A window readout mode provides 12-bit digital output for high-speed 4K moving-picture operation. Integrated horizontal and vertical drivers, serial communication circuitry, and an 8-lane SLVS-EC interface support the sensor’s camera-system implementation.
