With 8320 \u00d7 5456 active pixels on a 36.6 \u00d7 24.2 mm matrix, it delivers full-frame detail at up to <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>150 fps<\/b>, while up to 90 dB linear intra-scene dynamic range with in-pixel true HDR\u00a0allows bright and dark areas of the same scene to be captured in a single exposure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>High-sensitivity BSI pixel architecture<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The <b>4.4 \u00b5m pixel<\/b> uses <b>Back-Side Illumination (BSI)<\/b> together with <b>Deep Trench Isolation<\/b>, resulting in <b>peak quantum efficiency above 84 %<\/b> and <\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>ultra-low crosstalk<\/b> between neighbouring pixels. Combined with a <b>readout noise of 1.5 e- <\/b>and a <b>full well capacity greater than 50 ke-<\/b>, this supports clean signal acquisition across a wide range of illumination conditions. Dark current is specified at <b>3.4 e-\/s RMS at 29 \u00b0C<\/b>. <b>2\u00d72 binning<\/b> is supported and is Bayer-compatible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>High-speed readout and acquisition control<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The GIGAPYX 4600 reaches <b>up to 150 fps in full frame and up to 200 fps in 8K<\/b> with <b>12-bit acquisition and<\/b> offers <b>12\/13\/14-bit ADC<\/b> modes for applications that prioritise precision over speed. <b>Six contexts<\/b> are available for ROI and parameter settings, allowing acquisition configurations to be prepared in advance and switched during operation. <b>Trigger, shutter and flash synchronisation I\/O<\/b> support integration into synchronised multi-camera and illumination systems.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As a <b>rolling-shutter sensor<\/b>, the GIGAPYX 4600 requires the usual consideration of line timing when imaging fast-moving objects or when the camera itself is in motion. Whether this is relevant depends on the motion characteristics and system requirements of the application.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>System integration<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">For data transfer, the sensor provides <b>8 to 128 LVDS \/ Sub-LVDS data lanes at 840 Mbps<\/b>, so bandwidth can be scaled to the requirements of the camera architecture. It is delivered in a <b>ceramic \u00b5PGA package with 520 pins<\/b> and consumes <b>less than 4.1 W at full speed<\/b>.
