ViMOS Technologies aus Taufkirchen bei München und die japanische Seltech haben einen Distributionsvertrag unterzeichnet. ViMOS wurde im Oktober 2016 von den Distributionsunternehmen Vitec Global Electronics, Japan, WPG Holdings, Taiwan, und der Framos GmbH gegründet.

Das Distributionsabkommen zwischen ViMOS und SELTECH umfasst Lösungen für Datensicherheit und lernende Video- und Audiolösungen für IoT-Anwendungen in Automotive, Consumer und Industrie.

Sony Corporation now markets the July 2016 announced demodulator Apollon+, CXD2857ER, LSI conform to the ISDB-S3 (Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting for Satellite, 3rd generation) third-generation standard for 4K and 8K satellite digital broadcasts. Products are available in Europe immediately. The LSI is also conforming to all current international DVB standards as ISDB-T/C/S/S3, J.83A/B/C, J.382, DVB-T/T2/C/C2/S/S2, SBTVD-T.
