As well as featuring some of the highly effective power management IC devices from <a href=\"https:\/\/e-peas.com\/energy-harvesting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e-peas\u2019 award-winning AEM series<\/a>, the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/e-peas.com\/microcontroller-edms105n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new microcontroller unit (EDMS)<\/a> will also be included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Showcasing the autonomous surveillance system<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors to the e-peas booth at CES (#61225) will be able to see a complete low power system deployment in action. The autonomous surveillance system on display will rely on energy harvesting to meet all its power requirements. It may be used for people counting and facial recognition purposes (accessing stored data to confirm individual\u2019s identities).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does it consist of<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To power itself, the system relies on the <a href=\"https:\/\/e-peas.com\/product\/aem10941\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AEM10941 PMIC<\/a>, which is designed specifically for energy harvesting power management in solar-oriented implementations, plus the <a href=\"https:\/\/e-peas.com\/product\/aem30940\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AEM30940 PMIC<\/a>, which is intended for RF-based energy harvesting work.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of this demonstration will be the game-changing <a href=\"https:\/\/e-peas.com\/microcontroller-edms105n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EDMS105N MCU<\/a>, which e-peas is due to start sampling very soon.
