The Sony IMX06A-AMR-J is a 50.3 MP back-illuminated stacked monochrome CMOS image sensor designed for applications that require very high image resolution together with flexible high-speed operation. Its stacked architecture combines fast column-parallel signal processing with high sensitivity and low noise, making it suitable for demanding embedded and industrial imaging systems.

One of the sensor’s distinguishing features is the combination of Dual Photodiode (Dual PD) technology with Quad HDR, enabling imaging systems to handle scenes with large brightness variations while maintaining monochrome image quality. Multiple operating modes, including full-resolution capture and 4×2 adjacent pixel binning, allow engineers to optimize the balance between image detail and acquisition speed for different applications.
