On 16 July 2026, we came together to celebrate a special milestone: 10 years of the business behind RESTAR FRAMOS Technologies GmbH.
In 2016, ViMOS Technologies was founded in Munich as an innovative semiconductor distributor. From the start, the focus was not a pure distribution, but deep technical design support and specialization in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. The semiconductor portfolio was built at that times mainly around wireless, power, imaging and memory solutions.
In October 2025, ViMOS Technologies became an official Sony imaging components distributor for the EMEA region. This marked the beginning of RESTAR FRAMOS Technologies in EMEA. At the same time, RESTAR FRAMOS Technologies was established in the Americas as the official distributor of the Sony imaging portfolio for customers in that region.
We were pleased to welcome around 45 guests, including our employees with their families, colleagues from Sony Semiconductor Solutions Europe, and partners from RESTAR, Japan, and FRAMOS GmbH.
Managing Director Axel Krepil, who has been part of RESTAR FRAMOS since the beginning, opened the evening with a few words reflecting on the company’s journey. His remarks connected the anniversary with the people who have contributed to the company over the past decade.
During the evening, RESTAR also recognised Sibel Yorulmaz-Cokugur for her commitment and valuable contribution throughout the years. The acknowledgement reflected the hard work and dedication she has brought to the company.
It was an evening full of pleasant conversations and joyful reunions. The weather could not have been better: the rain held off until midnight, allowing everyone to enjoy the evening outdoors.
14 children spread around not only the soap bubbles but the joy and happiness.
Guests enjoyed grilled mixed antipasti, mozzarella with black olives, grilled chicken with rosemary potatoes and sweet chilli sauce, beef sirloin, potato gnocchi in tomato cream with Parmesan, and prawns with green asparagus.
A particular highlight was the light and airy berry cake with an anniversary inscription – especially popular with the children.
Thank you to who joined us and helped make the celebration a relaxed and memorable occasion: our colleagues from different locations, their families, our partners. Your commitment, trust and collaboration have shaped our path over the years.
