The Sony IMX811-AAQR is a 247.04 MP back-illuminated color CMOS image sensor designed for industrial imaging applications requiring exceptional spatial resolution and precise color image acquisition. Developed primarily for factory automation (FA) cameras, it captures large inspection areas while preserving the fine image detail needed for measurement, inspection and analytical imaging.
Its combination of a back-illuminated sensor architecture and 16-bit A/D conversion provides high sensitivity, low-noise performance and excellent tonal precision for demanding inspection tasks. The sensor’s ultra-high resolution enables large objects or wide fields of view to be captured in a single image, helping simplify imaging system design by reducing the need for image stitching.
Support for SLVS-EC, programmable gain and multiple A/D conversion modes simplifies integration into high-performance industrial imaging systems while allowing engineers to optimize image quality and data throughput.
The IMX811-AAQR is designed for industrial imaging systems that require ultra-high-resolution color image acquisition across large inspection areas. Its combination of high spatial resolution and 16-bit output makes it suitable for applications where fine image detail, accurate color information and precise image analysis are essential.
